Recreation is a primary aspect of the Trinity lifestyle. The parks and trails, the country club and the Fox Hollow Golf Club present locals with a variety of things to do in their spare time. Two community parks in the Fox Wood neighborhood provide places to jog, picnic, play basketball or just relax. In Heritage Springs, the country club is a venue for working out, playing tennis, dining and socializing. The recreation centerpiece, however, is Fox Hollow Golf Club. The club is a semi-private facility that has become a stand-out among the Tampa area’s thriving golf community. The course is characterized by rolling hills and imposing sand bunkers and water hazards.
Also nearby is a modern, 45,000 square foot YMCA facility. The YMCA at Trinity features fitness equipment, aerobics, an aquatic center and a rope challenge course. Kids can explore an indoor gym or outdoor water slide and play island. Their parents can make use of the weight-training machines and competition pool. Membership is strong, as Trinity residents appreciate access to the YMCA’s facilities and specialized programs.
Another notable feature of Trinity is the community’s proximity to the Morton Plant Mease Health Outpatient Center. Morton Plant Mease is a recognized provider of inpatient and outpatient medical care throughout Pasco and Pinellas Counties. The Trinity Outpatient center gives residents the security of knowing they have reliable, specialized medical services available nearby.
The Tampa Bay climate is known for sunshine and summer rain, and Trinity is no exception. For most of the year, Trinity residents enjoy more sunshine than much of the rest of the country. Average temperatures are relatively warm, ranging from the 50s in January to the 90s in August. Rainfall throughout the year usually totals about 52 inches, with the heaviest months of rain being July and August.
